Living Room (N)
Take advantage of the unused attic space to vault the ceiling and install skylights. Add a fireplace against the far wall.
The fireplace will be long and low, with a gray/blue slate surround. I’ll probably go easy on the shelving on this end of the living room, since I plan to have floor-to-ceiling bookshelves on the opposite end.
